Pregnant? Congratulations! This is such a special time in your life. A time to be cherished and treasured. It’s not without it’s challenges, of course. For one, it’s certainly a busy time with so much to do and prepare. If you’ve landed on this webpage looking for newborn photography Sheidow Park, I’d love to do my part in making at least one of thing easier for you.
Let me introduce myself. I’m Kareena.
I’m a local photographer specialising in maternity and newborn photography and I’m based in Woodcroft, just ten minutes away from you. Around the corner. We’re practically neighbours.
With children of my own, I know some of the challenges you may be facing (see my story here), and it would be my pleasure to walk with you through this time, capturing memorable photographs of your maternity journey and the arrival of your newborn bub.
Someone once said, “Taking an image, freezing a moment, reveals how rich reality truly is.” That’s what I aim for in my photography. I want to capture your special moments in such a way as to reveal just how rich your reality is.
While we cannot bottle these moments (I wish!), we can “freeze” them … we can capture these moments in timeless photographs you’ll treasure forever.
I like what Imogen Cunningham said when asked which of her photographs was her favourite. She answered: “The one I’m going to take tomorrow.”

We absolutely love our newborn photos created by Kareena, they were all so beautiful that my husband and I decided to purchase all of the photos. My husband and I are usually camera-shy people but with Kareena’s warm and welcoming approach, she made us feel so comfortable during the whole photo shoot that we even manage to fall asleep on the couch while she created amazing photos with our newborn baby. Needless to say, Kareena was very gentle and careful with handling our newborn that we felt our precious one was always in safe hands. From the very first contact, Kareena was very friendly and easy to work with. We also loved how Kareena took the time and effort to package our products so beautifully that it added such a nice personal touch to the whole experience. There is no doubt we will be recommending her to all our friends and she will be the first in mind when it comes to our next newborn photos in the future!
