Kareena Spall specialises in maternity and newborn photography. Kareena serves clients from all over Adelaide and beyond, but she’s particularly fond of Eden Hills. It would be her pleasure to help you capture timeless images to remember your pregnancy and of course, your little bub when he or she arrives.
Hi! I’m Kareena.
Eden Hills is an area that is perfectly situated close to the city and the Flinders University. The Wittunga Botanic Gardens is one of my favourite parks to sit and watch the ducks or stroll through the gardens.
The famous photographer Irving Penn once said, “A good photograph is one that communicates a fact, touches the heart and leaves the viewer a changed person for having seen it. It is, in a word, effective.” I like aspects of that. Through photography, we communicate. Through a good photo, we touch the heart. We leave a lasting impression. That certainly captures my passion for photography, and it informs the way I approach each photo session.

Newborn Photography Eden Hills
William was a superstar at his photography session. His photos are still some of my favourites. Since this session, he has come back for his sitter session and had a fabulous time. I put William in the same props he used for his newborn session to give mum and dad a real sense of just how tiny he was and how fast they grow!

Kareena is AMAZING!! We had her take newborn photos of our son. I initially emailed her asking so many questions, like any first-time mum!! She was quick to respond and no matter how stupid my question was, she was so polite. We had our shoot and all I can say is WOW!! The photos are second to none. Kareena was so gentle and patient with Will. We got some poses I didn’t think possible. Because of such beautiful work by Kareena, we recently returned for our sitter session. Will was teething, whingy and grumpy-but from the photos you would have no idea!! Again, she had the patience of a saint. I was ready to pack up and leave-but not Kareena. She knew how to ‘play’ Will and we have so many amazing memories. I cannot recommend her enough. She is not only talented and brilliant, but she is so caring and gentle. Thank you again, Kareena, for capturing the most beautiful photos of Will. Memories we have forever. We will be back … one day.
